FILM LABS MEETING
A Collaborative program
Apart from very few things that are already set, the week program is still to be decided.
It is an important aspect to us that the program is constructed collectively.
The idea is that the schedule will result of your different proposals (we organise the schedule all together with your different proposals). It will be done during the morning plenary meetings.
This is essential – vital – indispensable… that everybody take part to the plenary meetings ! It’s a time for introducing yourself and propose an activity on the schedule.
Basically, plenary meetings will focus on the current day program (even if some activities can also be planned for the following days).
From monday to friday at la Fabrique Chantenay
9:30 > Coffee time
10:00 to 11:00 > Plenary Meeting
11:00 to 13:00 > Activities
13:00 to 14:30 > Lunch
14:30 to 19:00 > Activities
19:00 > Closing doors
Monday and tuesday the plenary sessions are going to be a bit longer. 10:00 to 13:00.

OPEN CALLS FOR ACTIVITIES TO BE PROPOSED IN A PUBLIC CONTEXT
>> WEDNESDAY 6 ~ Jardin C ~ 23h (16mm, 35mm, digital)
>> SATURDAY 9 ~ La Déhale (Le Pellerin) ~ 22h30 (16mm, Super8, digital)
How it works : An « open screening MC » will do the coordination of all the open screenings. You give your film to this person and fill a small form ( title, duration, format, favourite time slot in the week). The programs will be then announced in the plenary meeting + displayed on the schedule.
>> WEDNESDAY 6 ~ Jardin C ~ 19:00 to 22:30
FILM, CODE & MINGA ~ An evening for project presentation in collaboration with PING (organizing a hackerspace/fablab meeting the same week we are having the film labs meeting).
The idea is to share with people about a project, a research, an invention, an intention… something still in progress or not, the aim is to explain, tell, talk, give the ins and the outs of a project, unveil the stories behind a film or (almost) anything else ….
As it is public, we will encourage having a french speaker around to help for live translation.
The schedule for this evenning will be setup in the beginning of the filmlabs week, declare yourself on monday or tuesday.

>> SATURDAY 9 ~ La Déhale (Le Pellerin) ~ 15:00 to 19:30
BAC À SABLE ~ The last afternoon of the Bains Argentiques – we will transfer our workspace to La Déhale, an associative open-air cafe on a barge, in the delightful village of Le Pellerin where the performances will also be held. We call this part of our program “Bac à sable” (the Sandpit), a meeting aimed at the general public.
Here you can propose all kinds of activities, on a volunteer basis, focusing on practical workshops, experiments, reflexion, setting up games and presentation of fun objects related to film. Varied ways of discovering the film universe are welcome, it only have to be aimed at beginners, curious people, families, little ones and grown-ups passers-by strolling along the river.
