About

Mire is an NGO dedicated to experimental cinema and moving images based in Nantes, France.

We envision cinema in an expanded dimension – with a predilection for analogue –  yet interacting with other fields and practices.

Mire holds projections and multidisciplinary events, runs a shared film laboratory, as well as running workshops and educational activities.

Since 2018, Mire organizes the annual festival PRISME – Argentique du futur.

When becoming a member of Mire you will get access to an array of activities and have the possibility to be involved in the association’s life if you wish.
